Motorola has launched the Moto X Force in India, which is already made available as theDroid Turbo 2 in the US. The 32GB Moto X Force variantis priced at Rs 49,999and 64GB at Rs 53,999. Both will be availablestarting 8 February.
The main highlifgt of Moto X Force is the Moto ShatterShield technology that promises a shatter-proof display. The device comes equipped with a 5.4-inch QuadHD flexible P-OLED display. The screen uses a 5-layer setup to ensure that the phone can endure falls along with P-OLED and dual-touch layer, claims the company.Interestingly, Motorola will also provide a 4 year warranty on the devices screen to make the deal sweeter.
Inside, it runs onSnapdragon 810 octa-core processor, 3GB RAM and Adreno 430 GPU.The company has put some thought in the battery too. Its not just a whopping 3,760 battery that promises about two days of power, but alsosupports Qi and PMA wireless charging. The Moto X Force will be made available in 32GB or 64GB storage capacities, but both come with microSD card slot up to 2TB.
On the camera front, it gets a 21MP camera with f/2.0 aperture, autofocus, dual LED flash, HDR and 4K video recording. It comes with a 5MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and a front-facing flash. It also faces a front loudspeaker along with five mics for advanced noise cancellation. Motorola gives fingerprint sensor a miss, but does come with NFC support. The device runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, and Motorola should most probably add Marshmallow update soon.
