Xiaomi is known for its unique ecosystem is to build a new perception of China-made goods and redefined as good quality. After launching Smartphones initially, Xiaomi has launched wide variety of ecosystem products ranging from Mi Power Bank, Mi Earphone, Mi Water Purifier, Mi Air Purifier, Ninebot Mini. Today Xiaomi launched their latest Smart Home product, MIJIA, Mi Induction Heating Pressure Rice Cooker. This project was started after NAITO TAKESHI, a renowned engineer from Japan joined Xiaomi along with talented people from Apple, Moto, IBM, Media, Philips, and Sanyo.

Xiaomi took around 18 months to undergo research and development and conducted 30,000 experiences in lab before we actually launch it. Before that it took 69 procedures just to finish the inner container of the IH Cooker.

Rice is the most widely consumed staple food for a large part of the world’s human population, especially in Asia. However normally the simplest thing is the hardest thing to do. How many of you ever experienced fail to cook a rice? With our MiJia IHR Rice cooker you won’t repeat the same mistake again.

China, India, Indonesia, Vietnam and Thailand are among the top 5 largest Producers of Rice in the World. Here comes the problem, the rice from each country has different methods to cook. Some might requires more water, some might need extra time to cook it, some might has higher boiling point and so on. Xiaomi created MIJIA to solve this problem? This is something really cool here, you can just scan the code on your rice package and the data will be uploaded to cloud. What is the purpose of uploading your data to the cloud? A corresponding heating method will be calculated and carried out. Currently there are 2450 heating methods in total.

Xiaomi even have an own app for this rice cooker. Once you connected to the Wi-FI and you can set the time for the rice cooker starts to cook so that once you reach home from office the rice is ready to be served. You can even adjust the softness of the rice on the app. By using MIJIA IHR Rice Cooker you can cook other dishes and not only limited to white rice.

The price of the Smart MIJIA Induction Heating Pressure Rice Cooker is CNY 999 (Rs.10,200). Similar product in the market is selling with a price ranging from ?3000- ?4000

The dimension of the rice cooker is 300mm (length) X 251mm (width) X 212mm (height) and weights 6.45kg with a capacity of 3.0L
