Xiaomi launched Redmi Note 3 in India: Snapdragon 650, Fingerprint Sensor

Xiaomi today launched their latest Smartphone Redmi Note 3 in India, in a launch event in Delhi.

In terms of specification, Redmi Note 3 is packed in a metal-body. Redmi Note 3 features a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS LCD display, Snapdragon 650 SoC with four Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.4GHz and two newer Cortex A72 cores at 1.8GHz, microSD slot, 16MP camera with phase detection autofocus, 5MP front shooter, LTE connectivity, Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 4.1, and a 4000mAh battery. There’s also a fingerprint sensor at the back. On the software front, you’re looking at the latest version of MIUI 7 running on Android 5.1 Lollipop.

The phone comes in two variants: one model with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal memory for Rs.11,999 ($176 USD), and another model with 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal memory for Rs.9,999 ($146). The handset will be assembled in India under the government’s “Make in India” initiative. Xiaomi had already setup a manufacturing unit in India.

The Chinese Company Xiaomi entered India by launching Xiaomi Mi3 for Rs.13,999/- and it was sold like hot cakes. Xiaomi later launched many budget and high end Smartphone which also sold like hot cakes. Now Redmi Note 3 have lots of competitor in Indian Market, LeEco Le 1s is one of the main competitor for Redmi Note 3, LeEco Le 1s is sold for Rs.10,999/- in Flipkart and it was breaking all the record sales on Smartphone in India. Hope Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 can break the LeEco Le 1s record.
