VTouch to Showcase the World’s First Whispering AI Ring and Holo Button at CES 2024

SEOUL, South Korea–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#AIPoweredUserInterface—VTouch, specializing in AI-powered natural user interfaces, announced it has been awarded CES 2024 Innovation Awards for its WHSP RING™ and Holo Button™ products.

WHSP RING is a wearable ring that enables users to have everyday conversations with AI. The ‘whisper’ technology makes it easier for users to talk in noisy environments while providing privacy. Whisper Ring can act as a personal AI device offering a more natural way to interact with AI using voice.

Bill Gates stated that AI agents will completely change the future of computing in the next five years. He believes there will be a transition from graphical user interfaces (GUI) to conversational user interfaces (CUI), possibly replacing smartphones. Bloomberg Intelligence predicts the generative AI market will grow to USD 1.3 trillion by 2032, with a CAGR of 42%. We can already see some modern-day products, such as Humane’s AI Pin, starting to implement and integrate the idea of CUI.

WHSP RING can be at the forefront of this screenless computing paradigm shift. In contrast to many other AI assistant devices, WHSP RING requires no trigger word. With integrated proximity sensors and AI speech recognition, the portable ring knows when the user speaks to it. Such benefits are critical when bridging the gap between CUI and real-life conversations.

Holo Button is a product that utilizes hologram and spatial touch technology to display holographic floating images in space. The users can interact with the hologram button with a simple air touch. With the uprising of Matter, an open-source connectivity standard built for smart home and IoT devices, and low-cost, Holo Button looks to emerge on the market.

VTouch is planning to release WHSP RING through Kickstarter in January 2024. Vtouch is collaborating with Kumwon Hi-Tech, a leading Korean refrigerator showcase company, to integrate Holo Button into a holographic refrigerator showcase.

VTouch has won 10 innovation awards at CES for the fourth consecutive year, setting a record for the most awards among Korean startups.

VTouch will exhibit WHSP RING and Holo Button at the Venetian Expo, Hall G, Booth #62738 from January 9 to 12, 2024.
