Symphony Solutions Celebrates Service Design Day

Lviv, Ukraine, June 08, 2019 –(PR.com)– Together with the International Service Design community Symphony Solutions has joined the network of service design practitioners by hosting: Service Design Day: Bringing Back to the Community, a 2-day jam session, where participants get hands-on experience from service design professionals and work on an actual challenge.

On June 1, the Service Design Network celebrates Service Design Day – a world-wide event bringing together people from different backgrounds and disciplines to share and experience the power of service design. The theme for 2019 is �Giving back to the community.”

The nonprofit, which was selected as the stakeholder at the 2-day event is Zero Waste Lviv, a social initiative created in 2016 working on minimization and prevention of waste generation.

The field of service design has come a long way in recent years. In complex data-based environments and information systems, where users have to navigate between different channels, service design allows connecting and giving meaning to these relationship moments, also known as touchpoints, between companies and their customers.
