The Brands and Personalities Singaporeans Trust Most

SINGAPORE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The 2023 Trusted Brands survey results are in – and the time to celebrate has arrived. On June 14, 2023, the Reader’s Digest Trusted Brands and Personalities Awards were presented at the Conrad Centennial Hotel, Singapore.

The Trusted Brands survey is one of the world’s oldest, continuous surveys of consumer brand trust in the world and Reader’s Digest is proud of its 25-year involvement.

The results of the independent Trusted Brands survey appear exclusively in the June 2023 issue of the Singapore Reader’s Digest. Conducted by leading market research company Catalyst Research, 8000 individuals across the five key regions of Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Hong Kong and Taiwan were surveyed to determine which brands consumers trust most in 2023.

THE PERSONALITIES SINGAPOREANS TRUST THE MOST

One of the highlights of the 2023 Reader’s Digest Trusted Brands awards is the list of most trusted personalities across four categories. The personalities Singaporeans put their trust in most are:

Most Trusted Radio Presenter - THE FLYING DUTCHMAN

The Flying Dutchman is a national treasure among The BIG Show listeners on Kiss92 FM. We launched the Most Trusted Radio Presenter award back in 2014, and since then the award has been won repeatedly by the Flying Dutchman, making this year his tenth consecutive win.

TV Host/Presenter For News & Current Affairs - GLENDA CHONG

As the respected anchor of Mediacorp CNA’s Asia Tonight, Glenda Chong is a face that Singaporeans trust to present the news in an accurate and balanced manner.

Most Trusted Entertainment/Variety Presenter – Michelle Chong

For the past five years, Michelle has won the votes of Singaporeans in this category. Her versatility, talent and intelligence has seen her build a homegrown media empire loved by many Singaporeans.

Most Trusted Sportsperson - JOSEPH SCHOOLING

Singapore’s Olympic swimmer and gold medallist Joseph Schooling’s authentic approach to life in the sporting spotlight has helped cement an enviable level of public trust, and earned him the Most Trusted Sports Personality for the eighth year in a row.

THE BRANDS SINGAPOREANS TRUST THE MOST

The award-winning Trusted Brands of the Reader’s Digest 25th annual survey have earned the privilege to carry the Trustmark Logo, a trust sign that helps consumers recognise quality, value and reliability.

Platinum Awards went to those brands that perform exceptionally, based on consumers’ perception, attaining scores that exceed their nearest competitors. Some of the awardees were:

• Life Insurance – AIA
