Day by day its getting worse to connect a call from Reliance Jio network to other networks, you need to hear this message "All lines are currently busy, please try again later" minimum 5 times before your calls get connected.
Now more than 2 million users are on Reliance Jio network under the preview offer. All local and National calls are free on Jio Preview offer, As we Indians are well know for maximum utilization of anything available for Free and we have no doubt about it.
Is Reliance Jio really sucks or other operators (rivals) block calls from Reliance Jio?
Reliance Jio's LYF phones was selling like hot cakes across India. The main reason is the Reliance Jio Preview offer for all users who buy LYF phone. So when you buy a LYF phone (price starting from Rs.2,999) you will get 3 months unlimited 4G data, SMS, access to all Jio Apps, Voice and Video calls. Every one who buys a Reliance Jio's LYF smartphone are aware of the truth that none of their phones are not a VFM (value for money) phones, still people buy it just to make maximum advantage of the Jio Preview offer.
According to Reliance Jio the other operators are violating licence terms by not providing enough interconnection points to allow calls originating from the Mukesh Ambani-owned Jio network to go through. This results in the call connectivity issue. Jio said. IUC (interconnect charges) is paid to the company running the network where a call is received.
COAI (Cellular Operators Association of India) said Jio's offer of free voice calls to those users under preview offer was leading to the clogging of their networks and that the resultant "traffic imbalance" was hurting services to the incumbents' paying customers. Also, the IUC that Jio was paying them was inadequate, COAI said.
It should be noted that Reliance Jio is also a member of COAI (Cellular Operators Association of India).
Jio said its users are experiencing a 65% call failure rate. "Without expediting the requisite points of interconnect augmentation, this situation will only get worse," it said. "Therefore, Reliance Jio's demand for additional points of interconnect is critical for its continued test trial and launch of commercial operations."
When Reliance Jio will extent the Preview offer to more people then the call failure rate will be more than 80%.
