Release 5.5.2 of WMD’s xSuite for SAP

Version 5.2.2 offers greatly enhanced functions for matching orders and order confirmationsnew functions in the Apps for SAP Fiori are also available to Web GUI users.

Ahrensburg, Germany, July 05, 2019 –(PR.com)– The WMD Group has now released version 5.2.2 of its xSuite for SAP. Like its predecessor version, xSuite contains modules for processing incoming invoices and orders, purchase orders and order confirmations. The essential innovations are an invoice monitor in SAP Fiori and extensive enhancements in the module for order confirmations. WMD is strategically aligning continued development of its SAP-certified xSuite with S/4HANA, the HANA database, SAP Fiori and the Web.

A functional focus of the new xSuite version is the extended workflow for processing order confirmations. User companies repeatedly emphasize how important it is to view business processes as a whole. WMD has therefore incorporated over 10 years of experience with SAP-integrated incoming invoice processing into the development of its product for digital procurement with SAP. According to Matthias Lemenkühler, Managing Director at WMD, “For us, this means that processes in purchasing and accounting are not detached, but rather seen as interrelated steps, meaning that we develop and deliver an integrated procure-to-pay solution.”

WMD’s procurement solution for digitizing and simplifying the SAP-integrated procurement process has been on the market for several years now. At the beginning of 2018, WMD launched the Order Confirmation module, which automatically compares incoming order confirmations with the underlying orders. Now the range of functions in Release 5.2.2 has been significantly extended. This includes a clear display of the details for header and item data such as terms of payment, conditions and Incoterms and material data, delivery address and conditions. Data from the purchase order and the order confirmation are now directly above one another. This enables quick comparisons and a direct jump to SAP. The tolerance check has also been improved by optical highlighting of deviations and errors. The module for order confirmations also supports partial or multiple confirmations and allows the monitoring of order confirmations.

Since Release 5.2.0, WMD has been mapping more and more work steps with the xSuite Apps for SAP Fiori. The latest release, 5.2.2, includes an Invoice Monitor for invoice validation. It augments the previous apps, which include an inbox for open tasks, a feeder for creating procurement requests, an invoice overview for displaying all accounting-related workflows, overviews of procurement, order and order confirmation workflows, and other applications. All functions are available analogously in the Web GUI of xSuite and can therefore also be used by companies that do not yet use SAP Fiori.

WMD has also updated web access to xSuite and the mobile version with a new version of OpenUI5. This ensures compatibility between browsers, frameworks, etc. for future releases of xSuite for SAP, and allows even more responsive display, especially for mobile devices.
