Italian-born, LA-based Singer/Songwriter Lorenzo Doryon drops single - Friends - from Paint the Night EP dropping Early 2019

Online PR News � 05-October-2018 � Break out recording artist, Lorenzo Doryon, releases the first single, Friends (I Don't Wanna Be), from his debut studio EP Paint the Night available now on iTunes, Spotify, and most digital retail outlets nationally.

Born in Italy and raised in Los Angeles, Lorenzo Doryon is a singer/songwriter and recording artist, with a four and a half octave vocal range whose single Friends is already charting in the TOP 40 on the retail music charts. Modeling in top brand campaigns, in the U.S. and internationally, for Adidas, H&M, and Target, Lorenzo breaks onto the music scene with an already impressive social media following and dedicated fan base. Classically trained with a contemporary sound that encompasses, soft rock, electro pop, and a tinge of soul influences, Lorenzo has tapped into a sound that is uniquely his own. Written with three-time Grammy-nominated songwriter Jimmy Burney (Demi Lovato), Lorenzo describes co-writing Friends (I Dont Wanna Be) as a bit of a retrospective process he describes as follows, "I wrote this song after an experience I had with a girl thinking we were in a relationship and having her act like it was completely platonic in public. Essentially, Friends is a story of unrequited love, and being stuck in that friend zone.

Described as a pop mix with an infectious EDM drop, Friends was produced by Gemini Muziq (Justin Bieber) and mastered at the iconic Abbey Road Studios by Christian Wright (Ed Sheeran).

Lorenzos love of music and performing began at an early age. At the age of 13 he starred in the Los Angeles revival of The Whos Tommy at the Ricardo Montalbn Theatre in Hollywood, alongside Tony Award winning actress Alice Ripley.

Preparing for his debut single release virtually his entire life, Lorenzo has recorded hundreds of professional vocal projects, including pieces for the Hal Leonard Corporation, commercial theme songs, childrens books, the Olympic Games theme song, and numerous voice-overs for The Walt Disney Company.
