Co-founder and COO Skip Sanzeri to Participate in Two Sessions, Including Presenting “Preparing for the Quantum Threat” on Sept. 12
SAN MATEO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--#PQC--QuSecure™, Inc., a leader in post-quantum cryptography (PQC), today announced that it has been selected to present in two sessions at the World Knowledge Forum being held in Seoul, South Korea, next week. The World Knowledge Forum provides a platform for discussing and sharing knowledge to promote balanced global economic growth and prosperity.
First, Skip Sanzeri, QuSecure co-Founder and COO will present on “Preparing for The Quantum Threat” to the World Knowledge Forum audience on Sept. 12 from 2:50 pm – 3:30 pm Korean Standard Time (KST) in room Dynasty B. During this session, Mr. Sanzeri will discuss the value of PQC and its ability to secure global communications. He will discuss various security solutions for organizations to protect data with PQC and ensure they can resist attacks from AI and quantum computers. He will also talk about why the time is now to understand AI and quantum threats and work on ensuring data and networks are resilient.
Second, Mr. Sanzeri will participate on a panel session titled “New Cryptography in the Age of Quantum Computers: How Developed Countries are Responding” on Sept. 14 from 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm KST in room Dynasty B. In this session, Mr. Sanzeri will discuss global standardization plans for PQC in developed countries, policy directions to be considered when transitioning to PQC, and the impact of post-quantum cryptographic systems on the industry and development plans. Additionally, the panel will include Dr. Dustin Moody, who leads PQC research at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST); and Dr. Damien Stehlé, Chief Scientist of CryptoLab. The panel will be moderated by Professor Chun Jung-hee of Seoul National University, who is currently a member of the International Academy of Cryptography (IACR).
At QuSecure, Mr. Sanzeri leads finance and operations for QuSecure and its flagship product, QuProtect. QuProtect provides quantum-resilient cryptography anytime, anywhere and on any device. QuProtect uses an end-to-end quantum security as a service (QSaaS) architecture that addresses the digital ecosystem’s most vulnerable aspects, uniquely combining zero-trust, next-generation PQC, quantum-strength keys, high availability, easy deployment, and active defense into a comprehensive and interoperable cybersecurity suite.
The World Knowledge Forum was launched in October 2000 after two years of preparation with the goal of forming a creative transition to a knowledge-based society, following the 1997 Asian fiscal crisis. Since then, the World Knowledge Forum has provided a platform for discussing and sharing knowledge to bridge the knowledge gap and promote balanced global economic growth and prosperity. The first forum was held under the theme “Building a New Framework for the New Millennium with Knowledge,” and to date a total of 5,518 global speakers and 59,218 audiences have participated, making it the largest global knowledge festival. National leaders such as George W. Bush, the 43rd President of the United States; Theresa May, the 76th Prime Minister of the United Kingdom; Nicolas Sarkozy, the 23rd President of France; Gerhard Schröder, the 7th Chancellor of Germany; and representatives from international organizations like Jim Yong Kim, the President of the World Bank Group, have attended, along with business figures such as Bill Gates, Founder of Microsoft; Larry Ellison, Chairman of Oracle; John Hennessy, Chairman of Alphabet; and George Soros, Chairman of Soros Fund Management. Scholars including Larry Summers, Paul Krugman, Michael Porter, and Gregory Mankiw have also gathered at the event to contemplate the future of the world.
QuSecure’s QuProtect software enables organizations to leverage quantum-resilient technology to prevent today’s cyberattacks, while future-proofing networks and preparing for quantum cyberthreats. It provides quantum-resilient cryptography, anytime, anywhere and on any device including network, cloud, IoT (Internet of Things), edge devices, and satellite communications. Using QuProtect, organizations can implement PQC on the network with minimal disruption to existing systems. QuProtect software uses an end-to-end quantum-security-as-a-service architecture that addresses the digital ecosystem’s most vulnerable aspects, uniquely combining zero-trust, next-generation post-quantum-cryptography, crypto agility, quantum-strength keys, high availability, easy deployment, and active defense into a comprehensive and interoperable cybersecurity suite. The end-to-end approach is designed to protect the entire information lifecycle as data is communicated, used, and stored.
