Questionmark appoints new leader in Australia to build on its existing client base
TRUMBULL, Conn.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#Australia—Questionmark, the online assessment provider, has boosted its offer in Australia and New Zealand to help employers better understand what skills their people have, and how they can be improved. With this information, employers can make more informed people decisions and so deliver stronger business performance.
To strengthen its international presence, Questionmark has appointed Oliver Scott to build firms offer with both existing and new customers across Australia and New Zealand.
Studies from accountancy firm Deloitte show that Australian workers often lack at least two critical skills requested in job adverts.1 Further research from professional services firm PwC shows that 75% of Australian CEOs are concerned about the lack of vital skills.2
But many employers do not have a clear picture of their peoples skills and what they can do. As a result, they risk falling behind competitors. Questionmark is calling on employers to address these concerns now as they plan for 2021 and look to bounce back from Covid-19 disruption.
Lars Pedersen, CEO of Questionmark, said: Although employers recognize the workforce skills gap across Australia and New Zealand, many could do more to assess the strengths and weakness of their people now. Often simple training or rearranging responsibilities can make a huge difference to business performance.
Online assessments can help employers get the information they need about their people. They can show where employees need support or what training is required. That is why we have appointed Oliver Scott to run our Australian and New Zealand operation, to help employers to get the insights they need to unlock their and their employees potential.
Oliver is responsible for providing online assessments to both new and existing customers across financial services, government, legal, retail, academic, and awarding bodies. He has nearly ten years consulting experience focused on how to use data to inform strategic decision-making with senior leaders.
Oliver Scott, Questionmark business development manager, said: “I’m keen to show more employers in Australia and New Zealand how Questionmark can help them to assess and then strengthen the skills of their people.
Questionmarks enterprise-grade assessment platform helps employers and organizations to onboard new staff, test existing staff competencies, drive compliance, and deliver educational or workplace exams. The firm can do this remotely with an unlimited number of test-takers, enabling employers and organizations to deliver assessments no matter the circumstances.
