SHENZHEN, China--(BUSINESS WIRE)--OneConnect Financial Technology Co., Ltd. (“OneConnect” or the “Company”) (NYSE: OCFT), a leading technology-as-a-service platform for financial institutions in China, today announced that it filed a registration statement on Form F-1 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”) relating to a follow-on public offering (the “Offering”) of 16,500,000 American Depositary Shares (“ADSs”), each represents three ordinary shares of the Company. The underwriters will have a 30-day option to purchase up to an aggregate of 2,475,000 additional ADSs from the Company.
The Company expects to use the net proceeds from the Offering for enhancement of its platform and technology capabilities, international expansion and strategic investments and general corporate purposes.
Goldman Sachs (Asia) L.L.C. and Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC are acting as joint bookrunners for the Offering.
