O2LAB Launches Hallux Magic Insole, a Functional Insole

  • Embodies patented technology personally developed by a professor in the Department of Physical Therapy

BUSAN, South Korea--(BUSINESS WIRE)--O2LAB, a Korean healthcare equipment research institute, has released its functional insole, the Hallux Magic Insole.

The word "Hallux" means "big toe" in Latin. This new product was developed for people with foot discomfort, such as those with tired soles, sore soles after walking short distances, flat feet, or plantar fasciitis, as well as customers who need to maintain physical balance due to unbalanced bodies.

The Hallux Magic Insole uses kinematic mechanisms to strengthen whole-body balance, helping users maintain stable posture and control their movements dynamically and variably. Additionally, the hallux point under the big toe supports both the inner and outer arches of the foot, reinforcing its intrinsic muscles and improving ankle stability to reduce the risk of sprains and strains.

The product's top sheet is made of mesh fabric, providing excellent ventilation and keeping feet comfortable.

The product is available in three colors: violet, vanta black, and cobalt blue. Customers can cut the insole to size along the indicated dimension line, ensuring a customized fit for any shoe size.

"Improper walking patterns can restrict daily activities and deform body structure, with the feet being the root cause," said O2LAB CEO Lee Soo-Kyung. "The Hallux Magic Insole is an ergonomically designed product that helps strengthen the foot's intrinsic muscles. It is suitable for anyone who needs correct posture and foot health, such as those who stand for long periods of time, those with tired feet easily, and those with low arches."

O2LAB is committed to acquiring patents, conducting continuous research and development in bio healthcare, and maintaining and improving product quality while developing new products.
