Greater Noida, India, January 15, 2019 –(PR.com)– In order to accelerate the appreciation of films in the Delhi NCR region, the National Film Archives of India signed three MoUs with the prestigious Galgotias University. The MoUs were signed formally in the presence of Prof. Renu Luthra, the Vice Chancellor of Galgotias University and Mr. Prakash Magdum, Director, NFAI, Pune. The MoUs are for film appreciation course, organizing film festivals and exploring further opportunities of collaborations for film studies. Galgotias University has planned to explore the possibilities of starting the PG Program in Film Studies in collaboration with the Galgotias University, for which a team has already started working. The University has also organized an exhibition on the theme Mahatma Gandhi on Celluloid which is showcasing 52 films on Gandhi. The exhibition was inaugurated in the presence of eminent dignitaries. The Chancellor of the University Mr. Sunil Galgotia said that ideology of Gandhi is most prevalent in today’s time when the youth has to decide the right things to do and wrong practices to avoid. The Dean of the school of media and communication studies focused on the relevance of the “experiments with the truth” in the age of digital communication.
