The AI medical imaging company will showcase ChestEye Negative service at Arab Health 2020 conference in Dubai. ChestEye Negative produces preliminary reports for chest X-rays with no abnormality. The service aims to reduce the workload of radiologists, especially in clinical environments, where only a fraction of all studies features an abnormality. It also significantly simplifies large-scale medical screening projects.
In the words of Mr Peksys, large-scale screening tasks are a key area of medical imaging, where the introduction of AI into the workflow of medical specialists can bring breakthrough advantages. Besides large scale medical surveys, ChestEye Negative is aimed at reducing radiologist workload in a clinical setting.
For instance, at a primary care center only a fraction of X-Rays feature an abnormality, but a radiologist has to report on all scans. By automating the reporting for healthy patients, radiology specialists can focus their attention on scans with suspected abnormalities, notes Mr Peksys.
ChestEye Negative further builds upon vanguard capabilities of CE certified ChestEye imaging suite.
In the last year we surveyed a lot of medical institutions around the world to learn about their challenges. With our extensive experience in machine learning and data science, we are quickly adding new capabilities to fit a diverse set of real-world healthcare applications, notes Mr Peksys.
