About Cap el Limón

The Visionary – Günter Kerbler, the mastermind behind Cap el Limón, is one of the most well-known developers across all of Austria and Europe. He founded Convert Immobilien S.E., one of the largest Real Estate companies in Austria with over one billion U.S. Dollars in assets. In 2019 he completed the largest wooden skyscraper in the world, standing 85 meters tall.

Over two decades ago, Günter Kerbler fell in love with the beautiful Dominican peninsula, Samaná. He designed and built the first few high-end luxury villas with top designers and architect.

The first 2 villas at Cap el Limón are designed by a famous Swiss architect – Leo Walser – whose designs look more like sculptures than buildings, exploring the interplay of shapes and shadows. Cap el Limón villas are no different, drawing on his “sculpturesque” style and magnificent shapes that will never leave you tired of looking at them. One of Santiago’s best – a PUCMM University‘s graduate and professor, a Venice Institute of Advanced Architecture graduate, and a MS in Environmental Design at Kyushu University, Fukuoka, Japan – architect Eduardo Sanches and his company will continue Mr. Walser’s work, designing and building the additional 36 villas, first phase of this 500 acre and approx. USD 100 million tourism project.

Cap el Limón is located on the Samaná peninsula, famous for its palm-laced landscapes, pristine nature, and whale-mating dances. The nearby El Catey International Airport, the new Boulevard Turistico del Atlántico highway, heliports on-site, and a private beach-bay, make it accessible by land, air, and sea. Cap el Limón gently integrates into the surrounding nature with extreme attention paid to the ecological impact on this beautiful land.

Plenty of attractions in the area, besides “standard entertainment,” such as beach and mini-island hopping, whitewater rafting on Yaque del Norte River, horseback riding through dense tropical forests, zip lining over fantastic landscapes, Samaná also offers some unique options. A boat tour of Los Haitises National Park, the largest mangrove forest in the Caribbean, a home to hundreds of bird species, with spectacular limestone caverns and hidden cays. A deep jungle expedition to the stunning El Limón Waterfall and a whale-watching tour every January through March. Either for vacation or owning/building a dream Home, for those who want the best in the Caribbean, your Cap el Limón experience awaits. The luxury destination for discerning travelers.
