Mycropore Receives Repeat Orders from TSMC and UMC for Electro-Copper-Plating Filtration Solutions

HSINCHU, Taiwan–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#ECPfiltration–Mycropore Corporation Ltd., a leading Taiwan-based supplier of micro-contamination control and filtration solution provider for advanced semiconductor industry, today announced the receipt of repeat purchase orders from TSMC, UMC two leading IC foundries customers who are based in Taiwan and one major IC foundries customer based in Singapore. The potential annualized revenue of these purchase orders is in hundreds of thousand US dollars.


Mycropore will supply a range of micro-contamination control filtration products, including the proprietary CoopaGard� series, SlurriGard™ series for the clients’ wafer fab electro-copper-plating (cathode loop) and single anode chamber (SAC) applications respectively. These products are currently in use at 4X, 2X, 1X and 7 nano meter technology nodes mass production on Lam Research’s Sabre® 3D for TSV, Sabre® NeXT, and various tools, and have been qualified to work across different chemistries from Enthone® ViaForm, and MLI® amongst others. In addition, Mycropore received repeat purchase orders for the PanalfeGard™ series filter which has been qualified in back-end bump plating application on the Ebara® Technology wafer bump plating tool for Integrated Fan-Out Packaging manufacturing. Mycropore expects to receive increasingly orders in the second half of 2022, and in 2023.
