The main reason is to Capture the 4G market, Indian Mobile users are waiting for much awaited 4G launch by Reliance Jio, Vodafone, BSNL, Idea and more other operators in 2016.
Micromax today launched two new handsets in the Canvas Mega series � the Canvas Mega 4G Q417 for ?10,999 and the Canvas Mega E353 for ?7,999. Both these handsets are running Lollipop 5.1 and Q417 supports 4G whereas E353 supports 3G.
The Micromax Canvas Mega 4G Q417 is a dual SIM phone with 4G LTE support. This handset is powered by the MediaTek MT6735 quad core processor clocked at 1.3GHz with Mali T720 GPU. Screen is 5.5 inches supporting 720p resolution.
Android 5.1 runs the show with 3GB RAM, 16GB storage and there is external SD card support. Front camera is a 5MP shooter and rear camera can shoot in 13MP resolution (it comes with LED flash support). Key features are 4G, 3G, 2G, WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth 4.0.

Micromax Canvas Mega E353 is also dual SIM but with 3G support. This smartphone sports a 5.5 inch HD screen that is protected with gorilla glass 3. It is using a Octa core processor MediaTek MT6592M clocked at 1.4GHz � with Mali 450 GPU.
Android 5.1 sails with 1GB RAM, 8GB storage and 32GB micro SD support. A 13MP camera is packed on the rear and a 5MP camera on the front. Key features are 3G, 2G, GPS, Bluetooth and WiFi. A 2820 mAh battery powers up this handset.
