About the Author
Karleen Christopher is a lady of mature years, having two sons and one daughter. She had another son who passed away in 2012 at the age of 32 from Lymphoma.
As a child, Karleen was an avid reader and loved writing short stories and poems. She studied English literature and grammar at school and college, but when she left college, she pursued other things.

Karleen started her working life in the publishing industry and had various jobs either related to or in connection with publishing. Then returned to college as an older student and studied business.

Karleen also studied needlework at school and went on to teach herself the finer points of dressmaking, which was a hobby at first, but after a few items she made were a great success everyone kept telling her that she should do it professionally. So, in 1980 Karleen took the plunge and started her own business.

After the breakup of her first marriage, Karleen spent five years in the Caribbean. She moved her dressmaking business there and built a reputation for herself as a seamstress and businesswoman. She changed careers after a short visit back to the UK. When she went back to St. Kitts, she made a friend’s wedding dress and stood in for her photographer after she was let down. That led to me becoming a photographer and taking pictures of people on the beach and making and selling holiday memorabilia to the tourists.

Basically, Karleen is a creative person and writing was her first love.

Now she has rediscovered her love of writing as she discovered The Sims.
