Mahanagar Gas Limited in Mumbai need to improve performance: Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister

The Minister of State (I/C) for Petroleum and Natural Gas Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, on Tuesday reviewed the working of Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL) in the city of Mumbai. Stressing on the need of MGL to improve its performance, he emphasized on the necessity of taking assistance of the Hon�ble MPs/MLAs for resolving all issues pertaining to the state government / BMC. He also emphasized on the need to meet the targets for PNG connections to the residential locations. He asked the Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) and MGL to work in close co-ordination, to expand the PNG network in the city, so that consumers have access to environmentally friendly fuel. Members of Parliament of Mumbai Shri Kirit Somayya, Shri Gajanan Kirtikar, Shri Gopal Shetty and Shri Rahul Shevale and MLA Shri Ashish Shelar, and officials of MGL and officers of OMCs also attended.
