Lenovo has finally announced that it will not be holding a flash sale of its K4 Note on Monday, but instead there will be a normal sale where everyone can drop in and buy the handset for Rs 11,999.
The move was expected after its fellow Chinese competitor LeTV announced record-breaking sales of its mid-range warrior Le 1s over the last one week.
Lenovo started selling its K4 Note four weeks ago, and the first sale saw 60,000 vanish from Amazon Indias shelves.
This was followed by another flash sale on Jan 27, after which total sales rose to 1,00,000.
The third and the fourth sales too involved 40,000 units, taking the total so far to 1.8 lakh.
There is lots of demand for LeTV Le1s. LeTV managed to sell 1,24,000 units in last 2 flash sale on Flipkart.
Lenovo launched the K4 Note last month with the price tag of Rs 11,999. The USP of the smartphone is that it comes bundled with ANT VR headset. Among the key features of Lenovo K4 Note are fingerprint sensor, octa-core processor, 3GB RAM and 5.5-inch display with virtual reality support.
On the hardware side, Lenovo K4 Note features a 5.5-inch Full HD (1080x1920p) display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The smartphone packs 16GB internal storage and supports microSD cards (up to 128GB) and USB on-the-go. Under the hood is the 64-bit octa-core Mediatek 6753 chipset.
