Khalti partners with FCUBE Cinemas, Q�s Cinemas, BSR Movies, and Mid-Town Galleria to launch movie ticketing system on its platform.
This partnership will allow Khalti users to book movie tickets directly through Khalti app and website. The partnership will offer an even easier experience for movie-goers in Nepal to book and pay for tickets in a simple and secure way via mobile phones.
Announcing the initiation, Khalti�s Director Amit Agrawal said,

This partnership for digital booking and payment of movie tickets holds a significance at a time the government has just started receiving revenue and all forms of taxes online in Nepal. It is expected to push the adoption of digital payment in Nepal.
Along with movie ticketing at these four multiplexes, Khalti users can also book movie tickets through websites of QFX Cinemas, Big Movies and City Cinema, and pay online via Khalti.
Launched in January 2017, Khalti is an emerging mobile payment solution in Nepal. In addition to online movie ticketing, Khalti allows users to top-up their mobile balance, pay DTH, internet bills, various utility bills, book flight tickets, book hotel rooms and pay in various online shopping sites in Nepal. Recently, Khalti has been aggressively expanding digital payment services in Nepal.
