Israels persecution of cults and polygamous family units, under the theories of mental slavery, is coming before Israels Supreme Court in the next month PDF to JPEG Converter Online PR News 19-April-2016 Four years ago the Jerusalem District Court indicted DanielAmbash, a husband in a polygamous family of six women for applying mind control to manipulate his wives to become labor and sex slaves even though science does not recognize the theory of mind control. Mr.Ambash was prosecuted and convicted 4 years ago by the District Court of Jerusalem for operating a cult and holding his women and children as mental and sexual slaves. Mr.Ambash, in his defense, claimed that polygamy is not a cult, and that the theory of mental slavery is a quack. The District Court said that the laws against slavery, which were initially legislated to banish the physical holding of people against their will and forcing them to produce labor or supply sexual services can be extended to situations where the captivity is solely mental, which means that the alleged victims are free to come and go anywhere, but their mind prevents them from leaving the home where they are mentally captivated. The ruling was despite the appearance of five wives as defense witnesses who tried to assure the court that they aren’t influenced by mind control, and that their husband never extorted sexual favors from them. Judge YaacovTzaban wrote that although they appear to be intelligent and independent, their willingness to share one man must be a product of mental captivity. No psychiatrists testified in that case to explain when and how the phenomenon of losing the autonomy due to mind control manipulation actually can happen. Mr.Ambash was sentenced to 26 years of prison. The appeal, asking for 65 years of prison, comes from a wave of persecutions of polygamous family units which started 5 years ago, targeting only Jews. The district attorney of Jerusalem presented to Court a novel theory that women in a polygamous family unit lack the legal capacity to consent to such a relationship and therefore all sexual intercourses between them and their husband are non-consensual, and hence there have been multiple rapes over the years. Mr. Ambash was prosecuted for holding women in slavery and servitude, rape, indecent assaults and illegal detainment. The case appears to be the first of its kind in the world, where a State takes the UN Conventions against slavery and forced labor, which address physical conditions of captivity, and extends their interpretation to include mental slavery, i.e., slaves who are free to come and go as they please but are dominated by some telepathic power of Mind Control. While these International Conventions are intended to protect employees and in particular domestic and household workers brought from third world countries to affluent countries, the Jerusalem District Court believed that they can also apply to husband and wife relationships, in such a way that the husband can be deemed as recipient of forced labor and sex favors from his own wife or wives. AderetAmbash one of Mr.Ambash’s women says: One day in July 2011 the police raided our house and arrested everybody. We were all charged with raping each other. Children were charged with raping other children. It was a fiasco. We always said it is not the States business to tell us if we can or cannot consent to intimate relationships in a polygamous framework. If I want to have sex in a threesome, I need to go to a prosecutor to get clearance? The Jerusalem judges are out of their minds. AderetAmbash is an orthodox woman who spent a year in jail for refusing to become a state witness and fabricate lies. Why should I sit in a police interrogation room and answer indecent questions just because I share my man with 5 women? says AderetAmbash. In the recent legal persecution of another polygamous commune in Tel Aviv, the so-called “GoelRatzon Cult”, the District Court of Tel Aviv ruled that the theory of mental slavery is scientifically false, and that it cannot apply within the meaning of the UN conventions against slavery and forced labor. The Jerusalem prosecutor in the Ambash case, YairChamudot, claims that the Tel Aviv District Court Judges holding that Mental Slavery and Mind Control theories do not exist, is wrong. The Jerusalem District Court found Mr.Ambash guilty of 18 counts of enslavement, rape and other counts of sexual molestation. The victims are the same women who appeared as defense witnesses and claimed that they were not victimized and no rape ever occurred. Bizarrely, they were held victims contrary to their own statement. This is the first time ever that a person was convicted of perpetrating crimes in the context of mental slavery and mental captivity of his victims, and the victims vehemently deny that they are victims. In order to say that a victim was influenced by cosmic and telepathic powers, the Court would have needed psychiatric evaluations and there were none. It is astonishing how a plethora of horrendous stories was deemed credible without any solid evidence, forensic or psychiatric proof. Witnesses were coerced to fabricate fantasies. Indeed, reading the verdict of the Jerusalem District Court makes clear that the legal theory of taking control over peoples minds was similar to witchcraft. Yet, the entire process of one mind overpowered by another mind happens entirely in the mental sphere, and therefore leaves no hard evidence. Israel’s Supreme Court will have to decide whether it is scientifically possible. Georges-Elia Sarfati, University professor in Sorbonne (Paris), philosopher and psychoanalyst |
