As CERIATM Beverages previously announced, IBC is providing business advisory services to assist with the strategy, brand and business development, capital formation, organization, and the establishment of operations, as well as brand development, and commercialization for the launch of its planned cannabis-infused non-alcohol craft beers. Together with ebbu, a leading innovator and cannabinoid research firm based, in Colorado, IBC, and CERIATM are helping to shape a new Functional Frontier for beverages which many believe will yield tremendous upside for beverage suppliers, distributors, retailers, and consumers in the U.S.

A NEW FUNCTIONAL FRONTIER
Historically, companies have been either involved in the cannabis space or beverage business and neither the two shall meet. There are very few, if any, organizations today that are bridging these 2 distinct industries. Uniquely, IBC is helping to shape the manner in which these companies come together to discover, learn and create a separate industry that will bring the benefits of each to an entirely new consumer marketplace. Those consumers that want the refreshment, taste and multi-occasion flexibility of mainstream beverages and those who desire the variety of functional benefits that cannabis provides, all in a convenient, portable, easy to consume liquid format.

According to Keith Villa, Co-Founder, and Brewmaster of CERIATM Beverages, CERIA will be brewed just like an alcoholic craft beer to maintain its great beer taste and aroma but will then be de-alcoholized prior to the infusion of a special cannabis formula by a licensed processor. ebbusTM leading pharmacology team has spent over 4 years studying and developing various cannabis sensations for end users. Through this effort, they have developed consistent formulations that will deliver reliable, repeatable and predictable cannabis experiences such as chill, bliss, and energy to consumers.

These cannabis formulations containing THC, CBD and other cannabinoids and terpenes will be processed and infused by licensed marijuana processors, bottled and/or canned on-site by the licensee, and then sold chilled in licensed dispensaries in the state of distribution, first in Colorado, then in other states where the use of recreational marijuana is legal.

John Carson, IBCs Chairman indicated, by IBC contributing to the safe and informed development of this industry through CERIATM, it helps us deliver on our increasing focus on being involved with platform opportunities across the beverage industry.

Stephen Horgan, Co-Founding Partner of IBC, formerly with The Coca-Cola Company and MolsonCoors, offered, We at IBC weighed all options before making the decision to join in helping to build this portion of the industry though CERIATM. After those discussions, we agreed this would be a significant contributor to future functionality for beverages. It opens an entirely new frontier for the industry, both in THC and CBD enhanced beverages that are clinically supported with specific targeted usage purposes. Ultimately, with our deep industry experience and influence, we felt we could help shape this in a positive way by being involved versus watching from the sidelines. And with partners like Keith and Jodi at CERIATM along with ebbuTM it made the decision even clearer. We feel CERIATM will be the first true crossover consumer product infused with THC. And as such, it will help create the model and pave the way for other consumer accepted beverages and consumables.

"We have always loved what Keith stands for great-tasting mainstream beers that really kick-started the entire craft beer movement," said Jon Cooper, ebbu'sTM CEO. "We are honored and thrilled to partner with Keith, Jodi, CERIA and IBC to bring this groundbreaking new product to cannabis consumers in legalized states."

CERIATM and IBCs objective is to have the first CERIATM cannabis infused non-alcohol craft beer on the dispensary shelves in at least one of the legalized states by the end of 2018.
