How to Obtain a Driving License in India

2. Learner’s License Application

  • Documents Required:
    • Age proof (e.g., birth certificate, PAN card, Aadhaar card)
    • Address proof (e.g., utility bills, rental agreement, passport)
    • Passport-sized photographs
    • Medical certificate (for applicants above 40 years)
  • Application Process:
    • Visit the RTO (Regional Transport Office) or apply online via the Sarathi Parivahan website.
    • Fill out Form 1 and Form 1A for medical certification.
    • Submit required documents and pay the application fee.
    • Schedule a slot for the learner’s license test.

3. Learner’s License Test

4. Driving Training
