Mr. M. Mahendar Reddy (IPS), Commissioner Police, Hyderabad inaugurated the Traffic Park, in the presence of Mr. Jitender (IPS), Additional CP-Traffic and Mr. Vijay Sethi, Chief Information Officer & Head, CSR, Hero MotoCorp.
Other senior executives from Hero MotoCorp, including Mr. Rajesh Mukhija, AVP, and Mr. Mahesh Hiremath, Zonal Head (South), along with the Hero Safety Team were present on the occasion. The event was also attended by senior police officers and the Principals and students of several schools in the city.
This Traffic Park is aimed at generating awareness about road safety norms among school students in Hyderabad. The trained Safety Instructors deputed at the TT Park shall regularly conduct road safety awareness programs for school students registered under the Road Safety Club.
With its unique riding simulators, the training park will offer a structured, highly-efficient learning environment to students. The park will impart theoretical as well as practical training to create awareness about road safety and enhance riding skills of the learners.

These efforts from Hero MotoCorp are supplementary to the efforts of local Traffic Police, Ministry of Road Transport & Highways to reduce Road Traffic injuries and save precious human lives.
In association with Haryana Police, Hero MotoCorp has also started a Student Police Cadets (SPC) programme, which has been a resounding success since its inception. Students from 50 schools in Gurgaon have enrolled in activities that will inculcate respect for law and community skills, and instil social values, while providing participants with physical fitness training.
Hero has also introduced a Mobile Safety Van, which travels across the city, and ensures access to students at remote locations, thus expanding the reach of the programs.
