Ms. Lila Hussain Director Business Development represents Glitzkoin, at the World Diabetes Day event in Malaysia. Online PR News 23-November-2018 Malaysia has one of the highest rates of diabetes in Asia, awareness about the causes, control and treatment of diabetes is crucial. Glitzkoin business development director Ms. Lila Hussain participated in the World Diabetes Event, the event was titled, ‘Diabetes And Senior Citizens Health Day’. Ms. Lila reiterated the commitment made by Glitzkoin to help local communities and support events, that would benefit society in general. She said, ” business activity at Glitzkoin is hectic, we are gearing up to launch the much talked about DiaEx diamond exchange. However it would be wrong to remain disconnected from community service and activities. Diabetes is a serious issue in Malaysia and we will like to support any activity, that would increase awareness.” The guest-of-honor at the event was Yang Berbahagia Tuan Haji Abdul Hamid, Manager of Felda Neram 1. The Cheneh Government Clinic played an important role in organizing the event to commemorate World Diabetes Day. Dr. Mohammad Hassan Ahmad, Medical and Family Specialist from the clinic, also graced the occasion with his presence. The medical booth set up at the venue was staffed by professional medical advisers. Doctors and dieticians provided advice regarding the factors that could make a person prone to getting diabetes. The importance of the right lifestyle and food plan were also emphasized. Breakfast was provided to all participants and they were encouraged to have their blood tested at the medical booth, before and after having their breakfast. This helped to clearly demonstrate the importance, of controlling food intake and choosing the right types of foods. It was encouraging to see the medical booth, drawing interested participants all through the day. Interestingly many diabetics have little knowledge about the causes and effects of diabetes, they do little beyond take their medications on time. Seniors prone to diabetes need to be aware of related symptoms and safe lifestyles. This was something that was highlighted during the event. Glitzkoin CEO Navneet Goenka, had this to say about the event, ” we are very pleased to play a part in spreading awareness regarding diabetes. It is indeed very heartening to see members of the Glitzkoin team, making an effort to help the community and society. We will continue to support such events in the communities that we operate.” DiaEx: The Glitzkoin diamond blockchain project, includes a fully functional diamond trading platform nicknamed DiaEx.
