Campaign coincides with International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, Oct. 17; Online PR News 17-October-2019 Faith-based mission agency GFA World (Formerly: Gospel for Asia, http://www.gfa.ca) has revealed its top tips for those who want to help end global poverty, marking International Day for the Eradication of Poverty on October 17. Extreme poverty - earning $1.90 or less per day - impacts 736 million people around the world, double the population of the U.S. and Canada combined. Poverty is the tip of a Titanic-like iceberg, said GFA founder Dr. K.P. Yohannan who has spent his life helping the poor in Asia. Povertys hidden impacts include almost three billion people without a toilet, and one billion people without safe drinking water.
