JOHANNESBURG,

Transformation Congress (#DTC2019) taking place on 30 July 2019 at the

transformation in the manufacturing industry by PWC titled, Digital Champions:
How industry leaders build integrated operations ecosystems to deliver

5 per cent of companies in EMEA regions can be regarded as "Digital
Champions", while none in South Africa were placed in that category.

The study reveals that South Africa is lagging behind on
the digital transformation journey due to the fact that South African companies
often do not have the advantage of setting up robust digital operations from
factory automation, workforce, and even organisational IT networks.

The Digital
