DirectRooms.com reveals that companies in the Middle East will be focusing on Syria for new innovations and techniques being used within the wood industry, as the countrys main wood exhibition takes place in Damascus.
Exhibits of new technology that have been developed for the industry to make production cycles more efficient will also feature heavily at the event. Visitors will be able to see displays of cutting machine tools, dowelling machines, kiln drying equipment and machinery used for finishing such as painting and laminating.
The show, now in its second year, features a number of international companies as well as domestic Syrian firms who are all looking to do business with the Middle East. Visitors are set to include key decision makers from within the wood sector such as architects, building developers, contractors and manufacturers, many of which will be flying in for the event from 15th to 18th February 2011 at the Damascus New International Fairgrounds.
With over 5,000 visitors coming from around the Middle East finding a hotel in Damascus may be a little more difficult than usual as places get booked up for the event.
Lek Boonlert, marketing head at DirectRooms.com commented: This is the main event for people in the wood industry in Syria and as such demand for hotels will be much higher. Attendees will need to book far in advance to be sure of getting places nearest the fairgrounds while the exhibition is on.
