Destin Commons Welcomes New Stores

The Destin Commons Shopping Center Sees New Store Openings in July.

Online PR News � 13-July-2016 – The Emerald Coast has a lot to offer from miles of beaches, fine dining, championship golf courses, and plenty of shopping. The Destin Commons outdoor shopping center boasts over 90 stores and restaurants and a 14-screen stadium style movie theatre. The award-winning mall has seen a few new additions in recent weeks continuing its appeal to tourists and residents alike.

Victorias Secret moved from its previous location and reopened with a 50% increase in size. The new store is located next to H&M and includes a dedicated PINK store. The stores feature a collection of lingerie, swimwear, sleepwear, and beauty products over 7,500 square feet. High Cotton Clothing Co. also opened with a variety of clothes, shoes, jewelry and accessories made in the South. The owners, Colby Anderson and Luke Andrews, live in Santa Rosa Beach and this is their first retail store. Yagoot yogurt shop opened next to Chipotle last month. The Cincinnati-based yogurt shop features healthier options with low calorie yogurt and even Wagoots dog treats.

These new stores join a number of favorites including Bass Pro Shops, Belk, H&M, Charming Charlie, and World of Beer. Whole Foods opened in April across from Lowes and has been a popular stop offering quality food and beverages with a vast selection of healthy options. A new restaurant is set to open at the end of summer as well as a hotel in the works for the property adjacent to the Commons.

The Commons is a premier open-air shopping center convenient to Destin vacation rentals with a little of everything. Turnberry Associates, owner and managing group for the Commons, has been bringing national brands to the region since 2003. The award-winning shopping and dining destination was voted Best Place to Shop by readers of Emerald Coast Magazine. The mall features a variety of boutiques and upscale shopping, restaurants, jewelry stores, and a playground and water park for kids.
