MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--#CYBE--CyberOptics® Corporation (NASDAQ: CYBE), a leading global developer and manufacturer of high-precision 3D sensing technology solutions, announces that it was awarded a 2020 EM Asia Innovation Award in the category of Test Equipment-Testing Software Suite for its CyberCMM™. The award was presented to the company during a ceremony that took place July 3, 2020 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai.
CyberCMM™, a comprehensive software suite of coordinate measurement tools provides highly accurate, 100 percent metrology-grade measurement on all critical points much faster than a traditional CMM, including coplanarity, distance, height and datum X, Y to name a few. A fast and easy set-up can be performed for programming complex applications as compared to a slow, engineering resource-intensive set-up that typically requires multiple adjustments with traditional coordinate measurement machines (CMMs).
“The ability to identify critical defects and measure critical parameters is increasingly important for our customers to maximize yields, increase productivity and improve processes,” said Dr. Subodh Kulkarni, President and CEO, CyberOptics. “Incorporating the highly accurate CMM functionality in-line saves tremendous time. We’re honored to receive this award that echoes the positive feedback we receive from our customers.”
The CyberCMM suite augments the latest 3D AOI software that is used with the Multi-Reflection Suppression™ (MRS™)-enabled SQ3000™ Multi-function system for AOI, SPI, and CMM, or the SQ3000-CMM system. Customers value the ultra-fast programming capabilities, auto tuning and enhancements that significantly speed set-up, simplify the process, reduce training efforts and minimize operator interaction.
Established in 2006, the EM Asia Innovation Awards program strives to recognize and celebrate excellence in the Asian electronics industry, inspiring companies to achieve the highest standards and push the industry forward.
