SAN DIEGO, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#APAC–Crown Bioscience, a JSR Life Sciences company, today announces the opening of a new oncology-focused research facility in Zhongshan, China to satisfy increased customer demand.
In addition to the Company�s four facilities across the US and Europe, CrownBios existing APAC footprint currently includes three sites located in Beijing, Taicang, and Suzhou, as well as one in Taiwan. Once completed, this new building will add more than 2,000m2 of new vivarium space to support CrownBios in vivo oncology platforms, helping satisfy predicted near-term growth.
CrownBios world-leading products and services are used by pharmaceutical and biotech customers across APAC, North America, and Europe to accelerate and de-risk their drug discovery programs. With the significant and continued growth of CrownBios client base, the Zhongshan facility has been purpose built to meet expanding study needs.
The research and drug development facility features BSL-2 laboratories and will include a state-of-the-art ABSL-2 vivarium. Initial capabilities will focus on expanding cell line-derived xenograft model availability and study throughput, with an increased roster of cutting edge, translational oncology models becoming available. Full operational capacity is expected in early 2021.
