Compass Offices Launches a Food Donation Campaign to Support the Community

HONG KONG–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#AGreatPlacetoWorkCompass Offices, one of the leading flexible office space providers in the Asia-Pacific Region, has launched a food donation charity campaign to support the under-privileged in Hong Kong.

During the past years many people have fallen on hard times. This presents challenges to some of Hong Kongs under-privileged citizens. The Compass Offices team would like to give back to the community by initiating a food donation campaign and inviting all its clients, partners and the entire community to participate in it. The company operates 13 business locations in Hong Kong, offering a good network of food donation collection points across key business districts in Central, Sheung Wan, Admiralty, Causeway Bay, North Point and Tsim Sha Tsui.

Compass Offices partners with “Feeding Hong Kong,” a registered non-profit organisation whose mission includes battling hunger in the city and reducing the amount of quality food being sent to the landfills.

The public is welcome to donate non-perishable food items such as oil, rice and noodles, canned food that is within their shelf life. Feeding Hong Kong will arrange the distribution of the collected food items and ensure their smooth delivery to where the food can do most good.

Compass Offices Chief Executive Officer, Hans Leijten, said: “After reading news reports on under-privileged people in the city, our team members took the lead to offer support via this activity. The extensive network of Compass Offices proves ideal to facilitate this campaign.”

Hans noted he hoped not only do his team and clients support this good cause, but the wider Hong Kong community will also reinforce the initiative and come over to the Compass Office locations with their donations.

“I hope we will be overwhelmed with donations, and together we can make a real impact!”

Collection points will be open at all Compass Offices business centres in Hong Kong from 5 to 31 October, 2022. Please click here for Compass Offices’ locations.
