Signature Sponsor, Clay Cooley Auto Group, joins the non-profit in helping reach its goal of 1,000 attendees. Dash for Dignity will be held at 222 Las Colinas Boulevard West, Las Colinas (Irving), Texas, directly behind Urban Towers on Fuller Drive. The event includes races, a Street Fair with food vendors, childrens activities, performers and music. Many activities, food and drinks are free to race participants and their families, however, the Press Waffle Co. food truck will be on-site, offering gourmet Belgian waffles and locally roasted coffee and espresso for a small charge. All race participants completing the courses will receive finisher medals and 5K trophies will be presented to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in ten age categories. Packet pick-up is September 22nd and 23rd from 2 – 6 p.m. at Dicks Sporting Goods, 2000 Market Place Blvd., Irving. Free race registration is offered to local police and firefighters with presentation of a badge at packet pick-up. On-site registration and late packet pick-up begin at 6:45 a.m. race day. The street fair activities begin at 8:15 a.m.; 5K event at 8:15 a.m.; 1 mile Fun Run at 9:15 a.m. Awards follow. All activities end at 11 a.m. |
