Astella Showcase Advanced 5G Networking Solutions at Mobile World Congress Shanghai 2023

SHANGHAI–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Astella Technologies Limited (Astella) is going to showcase advanced 5G networking solutions at the Mobile World Congress Shanghai 2023 being held in Shanghai, China from 28 June to 30 June 2023. This year, Astella has demonstrated the full 5G end-to-end network with Astella enabled 5G software and 5G hardware solutions. The solutions are ready for commercial deployment to enable various 5G use cases such as low latency AR/VR, industrial IOTs, mission critical communications, etc.

The demonstration showcases the full integration of 5G standalone (SA) core network connected with 5G integrated small cells with User Plane Function (UPF) offloading supporting low latency and high throughput communications. The 5G integrated small cells operate at sub-6 or mmWave frequency bands that could be flexible for deployments in public and private networks.

Astella is now expanding the product portfolios to cover the advanced 5G networking solutions integrating with new 5G applications. “We foresee more killer applications such as AR/VR and industrial IOTs are coming very soon. Those applications demand a continuous, low latency and even higher data rate wireless communications,” said Dr Eric Tsang, the CEO of Astella Technologies Limited, “Astella accelerates our partners to enable such new applications with quick time to market using Astella technologies.”

In the event, Astella also showcases our enabled partners’ products that are in production and deployment with Astella software.

  • Spideradio 5G distributed units, 5G sub-6 integrated small cells and 5G mmWave integrated small cells based on NXP® Layerscape® baseband processors.
  • Anktion 5G distributed units based on NXP® Layerscape® baseband processors.
  • GENEViSiO PAC-01x series 5G distributed unit acceleration card based on NXP® Layerscape® baseband processors, supporting four 10/25GbE IEEE1588 interfaces.
  • YTTEK 5G mmWave Front End Module (FEM) based on Anokiwave RFICs supporting 2T2R and 400MHz system bandwidth.

Astella advanced 5G networking solutions are presented with live demonstrations in booths located at N1.B140, N2.EMR12 and N1.E132. Please email us at events@astellatech.com to schedule physical or virtual meetings.
