Montegonians and members of neighbouring communities are in for a treat come November 8, 2019 when AHCNECS launches the first of their bi-monthly, one-day seminars entitled, How to Create an Online Income. The seminar will be held at 9 Dome Street, Dome Plaza, Montego Bay and is geared towards people with a smartphone or a laptop who desire to earn an extra income.
Attendees will be taught not only where to find jobs online, but they will be shown how to apply for these online jobs and how to turn them into profitable businesses. With the increased fear of doing business online, participants will also be shown how to protect themselves while online during one of the sessions dubbed: Cybersecurity: How safe are you?
The seminar will run from 8:30 a.m - 4:30 p.m. and will cost seminar attendees JA$10,000. But according to co-presenter Minister Joan Gumbs, This is like an investment. And one that will return great benefits. Just one project on Upwork that pays US$100. You would have made back your investment and then some!
After an intermission for refreshments (which will be served), attendees will get an opportunity to sign up to some of the sites that will be presented during the morning session. This will be followed by an extended Q&A session, to ensure all seminar participants are fully prepared to return home and immediately start earning an online income.
According to Minister Gumbs, persons who are serious about earning an income online will not be intimidated by the cost, as they understand the returns are phenomenal. She intends to show social proof (i.e. giving participants a glimpse into her own online earnings), so they can see the possibility of earning an income online. There is also the possibility for two lucky persons to leave the seminar $5,000 richer, as there is $10,000 in prize money at stake. According to Calia Black-Hamil who is also one of the coordinators of the seminar, If you dont attend you cant win the prize!
