OnePlus had announced two variants of the OnePlus X � onyx and ceramic. While the glass variant is already available at Rs 16,999, the Ceramic one will require you to spend additional Rs 6,000. It is available exclusively via Amazon and you will need the special Ceramic invite to buy it at Rs 22,999.
Many may think it is a tad overpriced for a device powered by Snapdragon 801, but OnePlus says it will be limited edition device with only 10,000 units ever sold. Moreover, it is built using Zirconia or Zirconium Dioxide, which is a crystalline material with a white shimmer.
In terms of specifications, the device sports a 5-inch AMOLED display offering a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. Powered by Qualcomm�s quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.3 GHz, it features 3GB RAM, 16GB onboard storage, further expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card.
On the camera front, one can expect a 13MP rear camera along with a 8MP front facing camera. The device�s autofocus allows to capture your subject in 0.2 seconds. The dual SIM smartphone will include a 2525mAh battery. The OnePlus X will run Oxygen OS based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
