Author Shares A Valuable Lesson About Self-Acceptance

Online PR News 23-February-2018 The worst loneliness is to not be comfortable with oneself. Author William K. Zimmer pens a book that justifies the aphorism about self-acceptance.

Zimmers book entitled The Tale of a Turtle Who Learned a Good Lesson introduces the character of a box turtle named Tobias, who was never once comfortable with the way that he is. He would always complain about the heavy shell that he carries all the time and looks at it as a disadvantage as he compares himself with his friends around him. He appreciates the agility of lizards. Tobiass friend, Lumpy the toad tells him that being a lizard is not all beauty and wonder, at the same time he commends Tobias for saving him from a snake through his shell. One day, a crafty vulture takes advantage of Tobiass insecurities and challenges him to meet the change monster. Little did he know that this plan is going to put him in danger. A twist of realization finally comes to Tobias which leads him to like himself for who he is.

The Tale of a Turtle Who Learned a Good Lesson teaches a life lesson that self-acceptance is the key to real happiness. The society today has been drawn to things that make people think that perfection is beautiful and it is the only thing that matters. This book brings the readers back to the fact that every individual was created in the image and likeness of God, which means everyone is beautiful as they are. This book is a perfect for all ages.
